"If you become a teacher, by your pupils you'll be taught."  -- Oscar Hammerstein II

Professor John Canemaker reminisced with Mo Willems (NYU TSOA Kanbar Animation area alum, class of 1990) at the March 17 opening of "The Art and Whimsey of Mo Willems" at the New-York Historical Society.  Willems, renowned author-illustrator of beloved children's books (Knuffle Bunny; Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus; among

many others) included his mid-career exhibition drawings from his earliest animated films made at NYU (e.g.,The Man Who Yelled).
